Panathinaikos FC unveiled yesterday the final plans (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) for the club's new stadium, which will be constructed in the industrial area of Eleonas, in Votanikos, about 3 km west of the Athens city centre. The managing director of Panathinaikos FC, Mr Evangelos Samaras, stated: "We have done our part. The club today submitted the preliminary studies for the project. They will be completed by the end of February. It is now the turn of the City of Athens to immediately proceed with the issuance of the necessary building permits".
