July 7th, 2001 Panathinaikos FC have officialy expressed their demand for an area in GOUDI, in order for them to build their new stadium (proposed capacity: 35,000). In particular, Panathinaikos sent a letter to the Prime Minister, asking for 0.5 acre (out of the total 2) of the park in the east Athens district of Goudi. Many politicians have argued on this subject in the past few days, while Panathinaikos have called their fans to help put the pressure on the Government.
