Apart from the stadia that will host sports in the 2004 Olympics (which you may see in the 2004 section of the site), it is very interesting to know something more about the so-called "Olympic Training Venues". These are sports facilities in the Olympic Cities (Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion and Volos) that will be used just before and during the Games for the training of the athletes. All these venues will undergo some upgrading works (ranging from a simple "facelift" to a complete renovation).

Having all this in mind, it is interesting to see which of the official Training Venues are included in Stadia.gr. Choosing each one of the following, you will be able to see the page of that stadium, which will (usually) include information regarding all the upgrading works. Of course, there are many more training venues officially announced by the 2004 organizing committee, however their pages are not ready yet. As soon as they are added to Stadia.gr these stadia will be part of the list below:
.
