Works are currently in progress at two neighbouring Athens grounds.

NEA SMYRNI STADIUM was partly renovated during the summer (new pitch and upgrading of various stadium facilities). The construction of a roof over the west main stand was left pending, but this is now in its final stages of completion. According to club officials, the roof will be ready by the end of November. You may see how works are progressing in a photo that was shot today.

KALLITHEA STADIUM was supposed to have a new stand added during its upgrading that took place last year. This didn't happen because of technical difficulties, but works have commenced since the beginning of this month. The new stand will be built on the east curve of the stadium and will have a capacity of 2,200 spectators. It is scheduled to be completed by the spring of 2004. Again, you may see how works are progressing in a photo that was shot today.
