July 19th, 2001 Works are being carried out in the last few days at the NEA SMYRNI STADIUM. They involve the building of new VIP facilities, as well as the construction of a "Panionios Shop". All these will be built below the main (west) stand, and require the demolition of 4-5 old rows of seats that are no longer used, and are directly below the stand and behind the teams' benches.
