| June 3rd, 2002 Upgrading works are taking place at ALKAZAR STADIUM of Larissa in the last few days. The stadium's floodlights have already been replaced, as new pillars were erected. The next step will be the construction of a roof over the west part of the stands, as well as the addition of two new lanes to the existing six of the athletics track around the pitch. The total cost will be € 1.7 million and all these works are expected to be completed within this summer. |
