The 2nd Division club of ASK Olympiakos Volos FC is finally allowed to play its games at VOLOS STADIUM. The club was formed 5 months ago, when the 2nd Division Kassandra FC merged with Olympiakos Volos FC of the Prefectural League. However, football authorities had not allowed the club to move to Volos until now. They played instead in Kassandria (home of the "old" Kassandra FC) and then in two grounds of Thessaloniki (Kalohori and Evosmos, both used as temporary solutions). The lengthy stalemate ended last week, when a court decided that the move of the "new" club to Volos was legitimate. |
