More
data: Katerini Municipal (formerly "National") Stadium
has an athletics track around the pitch. There is a main west and
a smaller east stand.
The stadium remained in a rather poor state until 2007. The next couple of years saw some upgrading works taking place, the first of which was the installation of seats on the west stand. Floodlights followed and then, in 2009, a roof was constructed over the central section of the main west stand. Finally, the works also included the construction of training fields right outside the stadium. The stadium is owned by the Municipality of Katerini. |
